I started this weightloss journey in January 2004 and lost 20kg in the first year. Then in 2005 I had lost another 7kg before suffering a miscarriage and I struggled to get back on track. This blog was a fresh start for me to help me reach my final goal. And just as things were settling down, I fell pregnant again in March 2006 and gave birth to a healthy baby girl in November. Now my main aim is to finish the good work I started and become a healthy mummy to my 2 girls.

Hi... it's me

Hi everyone, its me updating from a internet thingy in hospital.

Well got to hospital at 10.30pm last night, was checked at 10.45 and told I was 7cm dialated. Midwife broke my waters and sent me to labour ward. At 11.15 was told I could push and at midnight on the dot our new daughter was born. We were asked if we wanted 1 minute to midnight or 1 minute after and we took 1 minute after so she was the first baby born for the day.

She was 54cm long and weighed 8pound 2onces. As yet hubby and I are still to decide a name but will let you know as soon as we do.

Well this is just a quicky to let you all know that she is finally here, officially 5 days late.

Love you all, must go, legs are starting to shake.
