Still pottering on

Unfortunately I am still around. Yesterday I felt like it may have been the day as I had a lot of pressure and pain around my pelvis and just walking Bethany from the car to her classroom was a task. To try and help things along and even went and did the grocery shopping but alas, nothing helped.

Have been wearing my brace 75% of the time and it seems to be helping. Am not getting the nerve pain down the back of my right leg anymore. I didn't wear the brace at all this morning and it started up again at lunchtime so I put it on immediately and it went away so it must be doing something.

If this pregnancy is anything like my last one, then I am scheduled to go into labour during tonight or the early hours of tomorrow morning (I started at 3.30am with Bethany, 3 days before she was due) but this pregnancy has been so different to hers that I highly doubt it.

In fact I have been reading all the blogs on the Babes in Blogland site and quite a lot of women are having their babies early or exactly on their due date so I am starting to think I must be the one to go overdue.

Bethany is even now starting to get impatient about it all. Especially today. She keeps saying that it has to come tonight and even told the checkout lady in the supermarket that it has to come tonight. She is so excited about it. We have installed the baby seat next to her booster seat and the first thing she said is "If the baby gets hungry can I feed her" (she's still adament its a girl!)

So that's about the latest with me. If my waters break or contractions start I'll do a quick update to let you all know. Fingers crossed (she says while rolling on the floor with laughter knowing full well that she will still be up the duff tomorrow)
