I started this weightloss journey in January 2004 and lost 20kg in the first year. Then in 2005 I had lost another 7kg before suffering a miscarriage and I struggled to get back on track. This blog was a fresh start for me to help me reach my final goal. And just as things were settling down, I fell pregnant again in March 2006 and gave birth to a healthy baby girl in November. Now my main aim is to finish the good work I started and become a healthy mummy to my 2 girls.

22 Weeks today

I'm back!

Yes the computer is finally up and running again and touching wood working well. Will just check to see how the photo uploading is going, excuse a sec.

Perfect. This is the photo I took of my big girl on her 4th birthday the other week. Ah, where has the time gone?

Well as the title suggests, I am 22 weeks along today. Things are plodding along well I hope, my next checkup in in 2 weeks time. Am feeling lots of movement now, although on the days it is quiet, it worries me. Have been trying to get Bethany to feel the big kicks but everytime she puts her hand on my tummy, it stops. She even said the other day "it's scared of me"

She is soooo excited now. On Saturday morning, when she woke up, she came into my bedroom (I was still in bed) and asked "is the baby coming today?". When she sees babys in the shop, she gets so excited and loves her new baby cousin heaps. Here is a photo she took on June 4, when her cousin was 6 weeks old.

Last weekend, Petes dad came down and painted the baby's room. We chose a neutural colour as the baby will only be in this room for about 6 months and then this room will become my sewing room and bubs will move into the bigger bedroom. My mum thinks the colour is really pretty and bright, although the photos don't show it so well.

Its like a camel, beige colour. I am at that stage now where I just want to get the room finished and ready. My mum thinks I am nesting. Not only am I trying to do that, I am trying to keep the house constantly clean, I am trying to finish all sewing, knitting, scrapbooking and cross stitching projects I have started(all at once), I am trying to redo rooms, have gone through all of Bethany's clothes to store ones that are too small and am constantly making jelly (must say that jelly must be my major craving for this pregnancy).

So all is well here. Will now be back to regular updates and a big thankyou to all of you who have stuck with me. Must go now, have a four year old on school holidays who is demanding my attention.
